An unusual horse leg watch key pendant from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This beautiful piece is crafted in sterling silver and forms the shape of a 3-dimensional horse's leg with a watch key at the tip. The design is highly detailed, including a horseshoe on the base of the hoof, and subtle texture representing its fine, smooth hair. Two ribbed loops flank a center ring that is attached to the bail, and delicate etching extends towards the watch key tip. The placement of the bail allows the piece to be hung on an angle from a favorite chain, adding a unique touch to the design. A gorgeous and striking equestrian piece, this watch key would be a wonderful addition to any equestrian inspired collection! 

Measurements: The watch key hangs approximately 1 5/8" long (including the bail), and measures about 2 1/2" wide, and is 3/8" wide. 

Condition: The overall condition of the watch key pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling silver setting. The bail is intact and in good working order.
